The Lane Victory is a rarity among museum ships in that she is still capable of moving under her own power! Launched just too late to see any extended service in the Second World War, the Lane Victory went on play a key role in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Set aside for preservation in 1988, today the “Lane” is a majestic sight tied up at San Pedro, California and maintained by a passionate group of enthusiasts.
